When one of my handles fell off a mug in the process of making it, I decided to try to fire it anyway and see how it feels to drink out of. Now I find myself reaching for that one the most, as it's so convenient and takes up less shelf space. This one works well as a "handleless mug" but also looks beautiful as a vase or pencil holder.
I was thrilled with the colors on this one, as you never know how things will turn out through a high fire process. The blues melted into the browns and tans creating such a dreamy effect.
To the rim this mug holds 17 oz but I would suggest 14 oz for a comfortable amount to hold.
